Privacy notice
Effective August 1, 2026
RTL Datasets uses purchase information only to process payment, deliver the Sample, prevent fraud and duplicate fulfillment, provide support, maintain transaction records, and respond to refunds or disputes.
Information processed
- Stripe processes card and billing information. RTL Datasets does not receive or store full card numbers.
- RTL Datasets stores the checkout email address, Stripe session/payment identifiers, purchased artifact version and checksum, access status, and download timestamps.
- Essential HTTP-only signed cookies hold per-attempt checkout state for up to 24 hours and private download access for up to 12 hours. They are not used for advertising.
- This browser stores random checkout attempt identifiers for up to seven days solely to recover an interrupted paid delivery. They contain no card number, billing details, email address, Stripe session identifier, or signed access token.
- Cloudflare provides site hosting, protected asset storage, database storage, and security, and may process IP address, device, request, and security-log data while providing those services.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared with Stripe and Cloudflare only as needed to operate payment and fulfillment, or when legally required. Transaction and delivery records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, security, support, and dispute handling.
RTL Datasets does not use the purchase flow for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. Stripe and Cloudflare process information under their own service and privacy terms.
Requests
Subject to applicable law and records we must retain, a purchaser may request access to, correction of, or deletion of purchase information by contacting us from the checkout email address. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
